STELLA

STELLA is a photographic and cinematic project exploring the world of seaside resorts. It is also the name of the town where Anne-Charlotte Moulard has lived her entire life, year-round, in a place originally conceived and built for temporary visitors.

Developed over a period of twenty years, the project seeks to reveal the tension between rootedness and disappearance, between intimate memory and the collective narrative of a territory in transformation.

Anne-Charlotte Moulard is a visual artist and filmmaker whose practice moves between photography, film, and documentary storytelling. Her work examines the ways images shape our perception of reality and time.

Trained between Paris and London, she has directed several award-winning films and exhibited her photographic work in France and internationally. Each of her projects is an attempt to inhabit images differently: as spaces of passage, narrative, and sensitivity.
