Enter through the garden, meet at the château. INTANGIBLE, that is the name of the restaurant opened five years ago by Emma Destruel (aged 27) and Antoine Sallier (aged 31), both trained in the houses of Alain Ducasse. It is a photography book that includes fragments of stories and a few selected recipes. It does what a book does: it captures moments or a particular experience, it crystallises memories — those of two young chefs and of the remarkable place they run in the Tarn, which the photographer documented over four years.
JEREMY VERON is a French photographer living in Paris. His work belongs to the post-documentary, inscribing space, light and time upon the image while leaving the reader a degree of freedom of interpretation. He has always worked in the long term, and his intention with this first book is to dwell on the visual and narrative components of the place, in order to offer a poetic work, light but full of meaning and symbols.
