On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Impressionist movement , Jonathan Bertin worked for two years between Paris and Normandy, his place of origin and the cradle of the movement, photographing the places of his daily life, banal scenes, worldly scenes, limestone cliffs and lively waves of the Alabaster Coast.
This movement was born partly because of the emergence of photography which then made it possible to perfectly depict reality. Jonathan Bertin thus takes the opposite path: using photography not to freeze a moment but to restore its movement .
