    I AM NOT YOUR ANIMAL is a gentle, hopeful portrait of the resilience, life force and sisterhood of women who left Sierra Leone and were enslaved in Lebanon.

    ALINE DESCHAMPS is a French-Thai documentary photographer. She grew up in both countries and travelled from an early age. In high school she became a UNICEF Youth Ambassador and exhibited her first photographic series for the 20th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Since then, Aline has been convinced that images can dismantle stereotyped representations and act as a vehicle for social change.
