Cosmopolite — Collector's edition

Limited to 25 copies

For this collector’s edition of “COSMOPOLITE” by Fabien Ecochard, twenty-five bespoke cases were made in Bologna, Italy.

These side-opening cases were built to look literally like “a piece of Paris”, in a raw finish that evokes cobblestone, verdigris and rust. The image on the cover of the case is taken from one of the photographer’s pictures.

Each case holds a numbered, signed copy of “COSMOPOLITE”. Three signed 20 × 25 cm fine art prints accompany the book in a light grey velvet sleeve. A certificate of authenticity completes this original set.

COSMOPOLITE shows fragments of Paris — not the Paris of postcards, but that of Parisians. The photographer distils seven years of work in the capital and renews the great tradition of colour street photography to tell his own Paris: human and cosmopolitan.
