BACK TO BLUE is a photographic essay by the American photographer Carl Fehres. It is a collection of surreal colour images, shot on film and Polaroid between the desert of Palm Springs and the beaches of Deauville.
We created this zine with the intention of staying as faithful as possible to the spirit of the original darkroom prints. Like the originals — bold, vibrant and printed on thick glossy paper — we chose a stock of similar weight, finished with a gloss UV varnish to bring the colours to life.
There is no binding, which allows the pages to lie flat with minimal disruption from folding, ideal for the many images that run seamlessly across the page.
Limited to 500 signed and numbered copies, including 48 special edition copies.
