The Book of the Musical “La Haine – So Far, Nothing Has Changed”

SO FAR, NOTHING HAS CHANGED — To mark the national tour of the stage production La Haine – "Jusqu'ici rien n'a changé", we’re proud to present the official book that traces the creation and behind-the-scenes journey of the show. "Jusqu'ici rien n'a changé" is an art book that dives deep into the world of the production — and goes even further. It weaves together backstage photography, handwritten notes, sketches, and powerful texts by William Keo reflecting on how life in the French suburbs has evolved from 1995 to today.
A complex, living, and contemporary archive of this 2025 reimagining of La Haine.

With forewords by journalist Ramsès Kefi and rapper Médine.

In a unique collaboration between two photographers, the book is available in two separate editions: a William Keo Edition and a Yaman Yamsonite Okur Edition.
Each features a distinct cover, but the identical content.

YAMAN YAMSONITE OKUR is a French dancer, choreographer, and photographer of Turkish descent. A breakdance specialist, he was crowned world champion in 2001 with the group Wanted Posse. Over the course of his career, Yaman has stood out in the dance world, collaborating with numerous international artists. He is also the choreographer of the stage production La Haine – "Jusqu'ici rien n'a changé"

WILLIAM KEO is a photographer, creative director, and co-founder of Four Eyes publishing. A former photojournalist with Magnum Photos, he specializes in conflict photography, particularly in the Middle East (Kurdistan). He is also deeply engaged with the realities of the French suburbs, where he’s conducting a long-term project titled EXTRAMUROS, supported by the CNAP and the BnF, in Seine-Saint-Denis — the department where he was born.

    NOTE FROM THE PUBLISHERS
We are honored to contribute to the creation of this book. Our goal was to pay tribute to a landmark of modern French culture, while using the opportunity of this art book to reflect on the evolution of the suburbs between 1995 — the year La Haine was filmed — and today.
And finally, we allowed ourselves a bit of joy in designing the collector's edition: a custom bookend set cast in concrete, inspired by the iconic towers of the Cité des Muguets, where La Haine takes place.
